1. This was a mixed bag for me. Felt like two seperate movies put together, would have preferred they just double downed on one particular trajectory.

3. The movie was TOO SHORT! Would’ve loved to see more Ming Na Wen scenes and talking about Li’s trauma. Maybe some more scenes with Connor as well. He’s kind of a throwaway villain, but he is better than the Jaden Smith villain. I think everything in this movie was done better than the Jaden Smith movie, though. It established some heart right off the bat with Li at the pizza shop. It’s a good reason for him to find connection with his new setting itself. It was overall a pretty fun movie. Still doesn’t match Cobra Kai though!

5. Damn it. The last three weeks have been videos I want to watch but haven’t had the opportunity to watch the film myself first for yet… xD

6. I had a fun time with this movie, and I especially loved Lee, Mia, and Mia’s dad. I actually really liked how they were using him teaching the dad as a way to focus on his past trauma and kinda wish the plot focused more around that as the main plot.

7. Ming na wen is underrated and I wish she had more scenes in this movie
