I’ve know the answer so I wont say anything about the traveler. However, it was not Purvan that Aaron was talking about, that was Zerxus, a player character that showed up in the the Legends of Vox Machina show. He debuted in EXU: Calamity along side Lou’s character from the episode
I yearn for the day I can finish a campaign, but I at least got to finish a character. I was moving away and had to leave my IRL campaign, but my GM made the last session I would be able to attend a mission that fit my characters themes and left him with a forest to guard as a retirement from adventuring.
He has to be real because I BELIEVE he is
Yeah I know the answer. Please congratulate Jake for me on completing his six year Exandria campaign. I too consistently run a weekly Sunday campaign for my friends. We wrapped up a near 3 year campaign earlier this year and are already onto the next.
I BELIEVE!
I’m kind of a ghost online but want to share. I have seen campaign two far too many times. I watched M9 live and then it became my background noise then on. Spotify in 2023 clocked me at 85,785 hours; when I would finish the campaign I would just start over from episode one again. (I would fall asleep to it, and yes it was a problem). As someone who suffered a house fire in the dead of night in 2012 and lost a cat among other pets I relate heavily with Caleb’s story alone with the other Nein. For any concerned all humans made it out with little to no damage besides some smoke inhalation. The Nein became a relatable safe space and got me through a lot. I’m in a great place in life now and I give a lot of the credit to critical role and haven’t listened to any since I fully overcame my grief. Thank you critical role and therapy. I am throughly enjoying the animated series and every episode I end up with a sore face from smiling the whole time.
Aaron was referring to Zerxus Ilerez — not Purvan Suul — a la the stained glass image of Nydas Okiro in the former’s backstory (LoVM S3 E4).
