2. Yeah, I know this is a lot of people favorite arc, I prefer Greed Island more.

1. Never seen anyone say they prefer Greed Island over Chimera Ant Arc (best arc in my opinion).. Most say they like YorkNew more, but Greed Island ? That’s a rare opinion to hold.

1. My rankings of the Arcs (I haven’t seen the Hunter Chariman Election or the Succession Conterst yet):
   Greed Island / Yorknew City : I go back and forth between these two. I think a big part of Greed Island’s charm is for those that were born and raised in the OG Yugioh/Digimon/Pokemon era. But also, they really took the time to focus in on Gon and Killua learning nen. Meanwhile Yorknew City was just such a great arc, and it was the first time I saw a anime branch away from the main characters for so long to have a side character be the main character. And I think it worked wonders for everyone’s character development.

   Hunter Exam: This was rather great. And a great introduction. My only downside with this season was that the end felt a little weird with Killua getting taken back home and failing, only to pass the following episode in the first 10 minutes of one episode during the Greed Island arc. It felt a little needless to me, although I think it was so we could be truly introduced to his family. I think we could have done it without failing Killua though. Just seemed… odd, I guess? For the ending anyways.

   Heavens Arena: When I first watched it, I felt iffy with it. Mostly because it was a HUGE information dump. The power system didn’t feel like we got eased into it. More like just flung into it with all these words and definitions and such. Still, it was enjoyable and I especially liked it more as I rewatched. Sometimes I may consider it better than the Hunter Exam since the ending was a bit better, but I think usually I have it below.

   Chimera Ant Arc: The first time I watched it? Absolutely hated it. And I was okay with the gruesome deaths and what not. My thing was more the pacing. Going from like 22-24 episode seasons to over like 60? It felt majorly drawn out at times and pointless. And I think it’s a big reason why I’ve yet to watch the following season, although I’m hoping to find the drive too soon.
