1. I personally really like the dub, I don’t understand why people are as up in arms about it as they are.

2. I for one voted for this knowing that they always do Dubbed anime, but also worried about this. Unfortunately, I do agree that this Dubbed version isn’t the best and a lot of the show’s charm gets lost in translation. Particularly Frieren’s voice seems too different in tone. All that said, I’m still optimistic the story shines through and the crew grows to love the show!

3. There’s also kind of that little caveat where everyone voted for a Frieren reaction. NOT a Frieren English Dubbed reaction. I really feel like the dub is taking away a lot of the charm of the show unfortunately. There’s parts where they literally change the translation for no reason. Like the “corrupt priest” joke is just not there. Very disappointing.

   1. Speak for yourself. Everyone else voted knowing, and being perfectly fine with, the Frieren DUB. We have enough common sense not to care about this nonsense and made-up wars.

      1. I have nothing to do with your so called “made up war”. I watch and enjoy eng dubs when they’re not bad or good.(FMAB, NARUTO, Eureka Seven, SpyxFam) I’ll even say there’s plenty, like Kenichi, that are superior to the sub. My comment is an objective statement made from someone watching both sub and dub simultaneously. For me there’s something off about the dub. I’m not getting the same amount of emotion and like I said they’re literally changing the translation and not for the better. You can even tell from their reactions that their not having the same experience or enjoyment that we did when Frieren started and that bothers me. I do hope it gets better for the reactions sake.

         1. They have only ever done dub, any anime on their channel is dub. Before spending your money to vote on a show, how about just check how they do things. I personally love that they watch everything in dub because every other channel I have watched basically only do sub with some exceptions. There are many channels to watch that react to the sub, in the case of dub there are very few channels that watch mainly dub.

   2. The “corrupt priest” joke is a staple of his character and said a lot in the raw Japanese from both the anime and manga “(生臭坊主。)(なまぐさぼうず)”so what are you talking about? so your objectivity
      is def not objective and sure you might not like the Dub of Frieren but your reasoning is faulty.

   3. If you’d ever watched any of their anime reactions before you’d know they watch dub.

4. Definitely a slow ramp up but this was the episode where I saw its potential and got hooked. Gets so much better. Also I 100% agree with Rick lmao

6. Such a feel good show, crazy how I thought it was too depressing for me at the beginning.
