1. I feel soooo old! The lady who was speaking at the AL-Anon meeting is Molly Ringwald of The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, etc.. Not one ounce of recognition. *sigh

2. Al-Anon is a support group for family members of alcoholics and addicts. It’s affiliated with AA, but it is a separate organization. Carmy’s not an addict – he’s going to Al-Anon meetings because Mikey was an addict. His sister Natalie (Sugar) goes to Al-Anon meetings as well.

3. I love the conversation between Sydney and Carmy. It felt very real and grounded.. The way she was trying to explain her frustration without laying it on too thick.. Stumbling with expressing it but still got the point across.
