1. I’m actually with Eric on this one, albeit I think that’s the point of the whole thing. Takaoka’s plan WAS stupid and petty, and that’s kind of what made him dangerous. His vanity was ultimately his downfall, and he was the only one who wanted to commit to it. Season 2 has a character who does something similar to Takaoka but isn’t as stupid or petty about it and it’s a great contrast.

   Finale episode is overall very strong. I think the first season has some issues (adapting material like this isn’t easy and it struggles to balance the cast) but it’s really good regardless and Season 2 is even better so it’s worth it.

2. It’s like the worst part of YouTube comments get concentrated into these comment sections.

   Eric gets his opinion, you get your opinion, I get my opinion. They don’t need to be the same. Especially when it comes to a piece of fiction, and especially when you haven’t had a discussion with the man in regards to his opinion.

   I read the manga all the way through, watched the entire show, and own the first few volumes physically. I’m a fan of this show. Doesn’t mean I gotta get butthurt about it.

3. People are really mad at Eric for an opinion on an unarguably unhinged character that, by all means, acts in a pathetic manner. Going so far as to compare him to Cell is hilarious.

4. Eric watching Cell become petty and furious after being bested by a child: This is great.

   Eric watching Takaoka become petty and furious after being bested by a child: He’s so dumb.

5. “Villain makes a shrewd yet effective plan to take down heroes and creates backup plans on the fly.”

   Eric: The villains are just dumb!
