I’d like to point out the fact that Meleoron’s ability, god’s accomplice, actually make you quite oblivious of the effect of someone touching you or even nudging you like when he and Gon experimented on that bird. Apply that to what happened in this episode and it will make better sense. Aaron is essentially correct about the sequencing. The only part the anime did which was bit off was showing Youpi glance at the direction Gon was looking and then show the approaching fist. It should have already been deforming his skin when he looked at where Gon was looking because the only way Gon would have perceive anything is by a physical effect created by Knuckle’s punch.

   1. I think it comes from Aaron tending to take things he sees and hears literally as opposed to metaphorically, which you cant do in most anime

5. In the manga, it’s clearly shown that Knuckles’ fist connected AND THEN everyone else seeing it. So, what is shown in the anime is just for dramatics.

   1. I always am annoyed by them, lol. But I get the reason for some of the choices made.

7. After y’all react to the English dub of 116 can y’all react to 116 in Sub. Gon Japanese voice actress went off

8. That is what’s great about Hunter X Hunter; The fifth viewing is just as good (if not better for all the little things you pick up on) as the first viewing is. Easily one of the top 5 anime series of all time!!

       1. Because Gon voice acting in epsiode 116 and 130 went off

    2. I was about to say the same thing!! I haven’t watched the series in dub until now so idk if 116 will be as impactful as the Japanese VA was. It was one of the best voice acting in the series.
