4. I think it’s a matter of the cutbacks on the military in the Sand Village forces the military (shinobi) to shrink and become weak. It threatens their way of life because shinobi do best when there’s war. So if they can create a war where they’re necessary, then it’s beneficial for them. I’m so glad Eric is seeing the little bits of Gaara and coming around to the character. Can’t wait to see what he thinks after we get the backstory on Gaara!!
