2. This show is such a master class of show, don’t tell. I love the thread of the blood orange wrapping back around to it being the dish Sydney claimed was the best she’d ever had. The cuts to Carmy outpacing Chef Luca, to Carmy not attending his brother’s funeral, to the car being towed in the aftermath of Seven Fishes, were all beautiful call-backs that also enhance the current story being told of Carmy’s inner world. This show is just such a wonderful example of character study and storytelling.
