Hopefully you bring this up next reaction, but the reference to the golden thimble is about a twilight zone episode about a lady who roams a shopping store and at the end turns out she’s a manikin who gets to turn human and go up to the outside world once a year. Also just to add the whole cult aspect reminds me of work places saying you’re “one of the family” makes me wonder if Ben still got the idea from olive garden.
