Sinners Movie Reaction

1. Loved the discussion, especially when diving deep into Remmick’s history so it can give a wider perspective of Sinners and the roles the characters play.

2. the representation too of blues/black culture being a start for so much future history in music being picked and chosen by white artists is also a great takeaway from the movie. When the vampires first show up and start singing about “picking the robin clean”. that choice for the song had so much meaning in the movie and i love it as a student who studied music history. so much of music history can be traced back to blues music and this movie makes it so powerful

3. Love this film it reminds me of From Dusk Till Dawn

1. Oh of Sammie just singing in the end, yeah I forgot about that one.

6. I will also say that Stack’s now controlled by his bloodlust right. He can’t go into places uninvited. He is now bound by all of these rules that Vampires have.
