Hey uhhuhidk, let’s not shame people for a lack of knowledge about entertainment media- it’s gatekeepy and toxic. It takes time, energy, and money to keep up with media of any kind, and those aren’t always resources people can spare for entertainment.
They could’ve just looked up the names of the movies in the time that it took to comment here and the poll title literally says they’re Oscar nominated movies. The only gatekeepy and toxic behavior here is commenting that type of thing just because the poll choices aren’t to your tastes.
I don’t know any of these movies. Luckily I used the power of google to inform myself and voted for American Fiction. I like its premise the most. Glad you guys are taking a week to look at some more…refined cinema

Most of them just said they haven’t seen it and did not bash for the choices at all though? Saying that people should be ashamed, that is 100% toxic.

Maestro is such an incredible film. There were multiple moments I was wowed by the cinematography.
American Fiction was soooo good!

I loved all of these. Honestly, you would get a lot out of all ten Best Picture nominees, so I recommend all of them.
The Holdovers. I missed it in theatre. Will be fun to have « someone » to watch it with me😁
