I think the show isn’t strong with its misdirects (like with Morningstar) but it wanted us and the characters to assume his death.
I agree with Calvin, the Null Void has been built in the series as a fate worse than death. Equivalent to dying until we need them again.
How can you possibly watch this episode and think Max didn’t sacrifice himself? The show literally walked you through it and held your hand
Erik is 100% right.
Idk I liked kid Ben better mostly because when I saw this as a kid I could relate to ben more. I also didn’t get invested into alien force after seeing how much the characters changed including the aliens, it felt like an alternate universe therefore I stopped watching alien force. I still prefer the og Ben 10 tbh.
Well, characters do change when they age 5 years, and preferring a child who acts like an annoying 10-year-old instead of a mature, well-rounded character is a weird preference as well as a very episodic show as opposed to a good overarching story but to each their own.
aaron struggles sometimes with media comprehension lol love him tho
Aaron literally cried during the death scene and then immediately was like “nope he’s alive” during the discussion
‘Evil’ alien said that it would annihilate max. Show said he dead.
Nope Rick wrong. Sadly he is dead. D E A D gone.
yeah no it was meant for you to interpret that as Max dying, the characters all think he is dead if you want to think he is alive in the null void go for it but after this episode he is kuput dead
Rip Max
This episode made me cry so much
100% implied that Max was killed. You’re not supposed to over think it.
i dont think they’re overthinking everything… i think this is normal coping mechanisms to try to think of how the person that they saw die could be alive…
people do it all the time.
And that being said, they’re reacting online for the pleasure and entertainment of others. If they didn’t “think through” (or in ur words, iguess, over think?) through those discussions and “what ifs” or “does this mean X or Y”, then either they wont be providing transformative and constructive discussions after watching a footage, or the community will start b*tching and whining about “omagerd how did you not discuss about this or that, and you were supposed to think this not that, but you didnt talk about it, your reactions are boring waaaaa waaaaa”
because that’s how the internet is.
And the fact that you think what they’re doing is annoying and not a middle ground for both coping and maintaining a balanced discussion all, means that i know which bandwagon you’d jump on, accidentally or not.
