1. Now I could be completely wrong about this, but from what I gathered, the prophesy was lost in translation over time, similar to what the monk was saying before. The prophesy is linked to the hot springs, not the worm. When the hot spring rises/bursts, creating a rainbow, it signals the volcanos eruption, which is what happened in the first episode. The Kitos had twisted the prophesy to justify their evil acts, I think you’ll understand more next episode too 👍
