1. Calvin was wrong when he said the 3rd hokage was sealed. What happened back then in their fight was the 3rd hokage used a Sealing jutsu called the Reaper Death Seal, which more or less “seals” the target’s soul inside of the grim reaper, to never return again. But for such a powerful attack, it has a huge drawback, which the 3rd hokage said is death, and ultimately “eternal torment in hell”. So the 3rd hokage just straight up died and went to hell, while Orochimaru’s ability to cast jutsu was sealed away inside the grim reaper, due to the 3rd hokage not being strong enough to seal the entirety of Orochimaru. So Orochimaru is sealed while the 3rd hokage is straight up just dead.

   2. You’re wrong, actually. Using the Reaper Death Seal also seals your own soul within the Reaper. That’s how the 3rd & 4th ended up within the belly of the Reaper.
