1. I totally understand they hadnt seen volume 8 in like 3 years so everyone will forget stuff, I just wish someone could have reminded them, Jaune is the one who had to carry out Penny’s sacrifice, so that guilt and burden is a big part of his arc/story this Volume. Especially with what comes in the next episode. They obviously know she died but don’t fully remember how. Him doing it is different from thinking she just died fighting Cinder.

   Overall still happy to see them enjoying it and getting so into the mystery of what this world is and what is going to happen.

2. 1. Lore states he’s in his 40s.
   2. This is an anime, not a cartoon, Eric.

3. Honestly one of the best volumes in this show. There is a lot of soul searching that happens, and it is all so beneficial for our heroes.

4. I would assume Jaune has been there for 10-15 years. He has the gray strand in his hair, he looks more mature and worn down. I’d assume the world they’re in has some kind of time dilation.

5. I mean it feels like Jaune has been there for more then then just 5 years look at all the white in his hair. He looks much older then just a 5 year timeskip of course part of that is probably due to the all the stress of being there alone, at bare minimum 10 to 15 years have passed for him the man looked like he’s in his mid 30s.

6. This Volume was honestly a therapy session for them. After a major lose like the one they took and taking account their age and what they had to do, they needed to regroup. Juane story was sad cause not only did he lose but had to kill Penny and be left alone for years before he saw his friends again. This was their emotional journey
