4. To why they didn’t pull it discussion. We’ve seen in star wars that lifting and moving something slowly takes a lot more concentration then a simple force push. It was probably too dangerous for the both of them to stop and close their eye’s and if they pulled too fast they risk breaking it. Better use the force to boost someone out to get it.
