When they’re about to go into the trailer in the upside down Steve is coughing and he said I think I inhaled a bunch of that stuff it’s caught in my throat, Kind of a subtle line that you can miss easily but it could be a hint that Steve is infected from those bites he got. Those injuries didn’t look good.
