1. Scanlan and Pike are both gnomes, Vex, Vax, and Keyleth are all Half-Elves, Grog is a Goliath, and Percy is a Human. There are also Dwarves and Halflings in the world, but none of the players in this campaign are playing those races. This campaign started as a pathfinder campaign which is why Percy is a gunslinger, when they decided to start streaming the campaign (which was around level 10) they switched from pathfinder to D&D, so Matt created the gunslinger as a fighter subclass so that Taliesin didn’t have to change his character to a completely different class.

2. my only reference for DnD is the comic DIE………and some of the tv series from the 80s but i barely watched that
