  1. I am shocked that you guys have seen The Cape! I liked that show a lot. Whenever actor James Frain shows up anywhere(like Grimm) I ALWAYS call him “Chess”, the name of his character on The Cape.

  2. Too me how special is the Girl though Ms Marvel can hold both gauntlets and was fine and the villain gets blown up a powerful Kree. I do wonder if the gauntlets and the 10 rings were made by the same people cause look the same or they belonged to the same hero

  3. so…..in the comics, carol (after losing her powers to rogue) went to live and work with the x-men as a patient of professor x as when rogue absorb your powers she also absorbs your memories and she left carol a blank slate. during one of their avengers in space she was being studied by the brood (xmen alien enemy) and it was revealed she still some dormant power. this is the first introduction of her ability to absorb energy (before that she was just super strong, could fly, had a 7th sense, and slight molecular reconstruction abilities limited to her clothing and body (really just the hair on her head). this is when she taps into the power of a dwarf star and gets that costume you see. in this era she is known as binary. so they gave maria to the xmen, carol to the avengers and we get the best of both worlds.

  4. This movie wasn’t really my cup of tea, but this reaction was fun to watch. Dar-Benn was very much an unfleshed villain, but the scene of them figuring out their powers on the ship was my favorite part. I will disagree on what Aaron said about Fury in this feeling like Avengers 1 Fury. The Fury in Avengers still felt an actual performance, whereas I felt like Sam Jackson phoned it in here.

Also yes, it is Brie Larson singing. She was a singer before she was an actress, and she even sang in the Scott Pilgrim movie. You guys have seen that, right? If not, it’d be a dope reaction!

  5. I enjoyed the movie as a whole. I did think the singing section was a bit Disneyfied and shoe horned in. But thankfully it was short enough to not be too much of an issue so it didn’t bother me too much. Was waiting for your reaction to the mid credit scene. Loved it. And Kamala recruiting the ‘young Avengers’. I thought Imani was the star of this movie. She added such fun to it all. And her family added lots of heart and chemistry to it.

  6. Such a horrible movie. They reduced spymaster general elite Nick Fury who was in control and in the know of everything down to some weird oblivious uncle from space for comedy relief. After part one where the Flurken cat was such a success they must’ve thought let’s add a thousand more. I rate this 1 out of 16 stars. After Thor the Dark World and Iron Man 2 this is the worst Marvel movie.
