1. The real beauty of the shootout is that in this battle between the two smartest criminal masterminds ever in the end it boils down to a 50/50 shootout that could be had by any common crook

2. I believe the luck they were talking about was not getting to the gun but shooting Lalo in the dark. Sure the muzzle flash helps but to hit the target in the dark was part luck,

3. One thing about Gus being lucky, I think you guys forgot Gus measuring the steps from the power cord to where he hid the gun, he already knew how far it was beforehand, in the end he was one step ahead, literally. Phenomenal show.
