2. Oof Eric missed the finish. They were much more thorough in the other crews reaction. In the story flint is hinted at dying in some American colony, so it assumed with this story he did meet Thomas on that plantation. As for billy he does get stuck on the island ben gun returns later and gets stuck as well and meets billy there. So billy isn’t taking ben guns place in the story at all
