Totally agree. Daphne is understandably angry and betrayed by the Duke’s lie by omission taking advantage of her ignorance, but that does not excuse Daphne forcing the Duke to impregnate her. I cringed so much when he told her to stop but she kept going – that’s rape. I didn’t find their story all that compelling but they totally lost me there. I felt much more invested in Anthony’s situation with Siena the opera singer. Anthony has a more interesting arc where he’s confronted with his privilege, how he can improve as a brother and as a man. Lots of growth for him in this season.
