This episode was meant to be a final episode of the series, if the show was not renewed for another season. Dan Harmon’s problems with Chevy Chase ultimately got him fired from his own show. Community did get renewed for a fourth season, but was now Dan Harmonless. The show also lost episode counts as well because it was mid-season replacement. The fourth season was, in my opinion the worst season of the 6, because of Harmon’s removal. The fifth season, however, had the return of Harmon to the reigns, He was brought back to fix the damage left in the wake of season four.
Such a good season, this show just keeps getting better and better XD
Time for the gas leak year. Hoping they manage to make it all the way through, because I’d genuinely like to see reactions for seasons 5 and 6.
They usually commit to a show even if there’s a bad season in the way, so I’m hoping they still commit to Community. Plus, I’ll give season 4 the benefit of the doubt it wasn’t that bad of a season it was still hilarious it just did a lot of things wrong.
Season 4 is not as good by Community standards but it still has its really good moments and the blind wave crew will still find it funny. It’s a 6-7/10 season in a show full of 9-10/10 seasons, which honestly ain’t that bad. Even some of the best shows (*cough* Game of Thrones *cough* house of cards) have seasons worse than a 6/10.
