Saw the movie and thought it was good but I really loved the series when I was in college. Aaron saying his father watched it makes me sad. But not as sad as listening to Freddie singing Who Wants to Live Forever. I cry every time.
This is one of my dad’s favorite movies. I know he made me watch it when I was 4 or 5, but I don’t remember any of it. I just remember him quoting “there can only be one” all of the time and heads getting chopped off. Now rewatching it with yall, I cannot believe this is the movie he loves. It’s ridiculous.

I loved the series as well. Many of the other movies…. more miss than hit unfortunately.
I especially liked how it expanded a lot of the Lore.
I was addicted to this series as a kid… even today if I see a katana with a dragon hilt, I think “Highlander”
