Always Sunny is a hard show to react to tbh. I get why Rick left. I wish he hadn’t because the show gets better from basically the point he stopped watching lol.. like it’s janky and has little charm for over a season. There’s a point where it hits it’s stride though and the characters, while still terrible, become a bit more relatable and dull their edges a little.
It’s a damn shame because Rick is such a big Seinfeld fan and Sunny is literally the sequel to Seinfeld.
Perhaps the fact that it’s topical humor vs. relationship stuff like in Seinfeld was the main turn off? Idk.
Really sad that this was the show picked to replace Brooklyn 99 and it loses Rick. He got so much joy out of that show, and it was obvious right away that this show wasn’t his type of humor. He’d do much better with the Office or Parks and Rec. Hope they can put one of those shows in to get weekly Rick laughs again.
I can’t blame Rick. If the show isn’t for you then there is no use watching and pushing through. I personally love the show, but it’s not for everyone.
Rather have Rick leave then spend the discussion nitpicking things like he’s done with other stuff he dislikes. Love to watch him when he enjoys stuff though, hopefully something gets voted onto the schedule soon that he’ll enjoy as much as B99

Didn’t mean to leave this as a reply but whatever
This show is 100x funnier than Brooklyn 99. Rick’s loss.
Yeah, it looked like Rick didn’t enjoy the show.
Damn Rick and Calvin are missing a lot.
