A subtle thing I think new manga and anime is missing is it taking years for our characters to be the bad assess we always wanted them to be and to match their senseis, We are in season 2 and some of the strongest kaiju hunters are some of the people who just joined, It took naruto till like episode 60 to be compotent and he wasnt “THAT GUY” until he learned rasengshurikan after like 150 episodes of story, I know kaiju no 8 isnt going on as long as naruto did but i wish it was
