1. So lucky that I’m not a reactor, I watched/read One Piece for over 20 years that know so much about One Piece and still feel tired with all these complaining in the comment… imagine what they would have feel if someone tell them the comment is just people keep telling what to do and what to think, how to watch “the right way”, etc.

2. I will never get over that meme that was like a huge building with “current one piece” written on it & then scroll down & its held up with a stick that says “some random shit sanji did on little garden”

I’m hoping the nitpicks would be just because they’re just starting to dabble into the universe and not because they think everything in this show is stupid lol…it’s pretty established that this is a goofy world ON THE SURFACE but I’m waiting until they see how deep this show gets both in lore and in themes.

   It’s funny currently that they gave all the pass and thoroughly enjoyed Stranger Things Season 5 (which is a HORRIBLE season, and basically ruined the entire series) but they’re nitpicking the hell out of One Piece lol…it’s anime logic, sometimes you just gotta let things go…the way it’s going I don’t see them going past Alabasta, which is a shame…because I love watching this group have in depth discussion but One Piece might be too slow for them 😅

   But if you guys still are willing to give it a shot, One Piece is basically how it sells itself, it is an adventure, so just enjoy the ride…the destination will come, but the slow pacing is the reason why it is so beloved by so many, because the “moments” will hit you like a truck after you go through its long buildups. Keep going Blindwave!!! 🤘

   PS: I know people are saying the dub is ok, but the Japanese VA is exceptional…Crocodile is just not the same, and Sanji did appear not smooth in his talk with Crocodile, he IS pretty smooth and is trying to be chummy with Mr. 0 in the sub version….the english dub changes a lot of lines, and makes it more “corny” than it’s supposed to be.

1. I hate people like you. So what if season 5 of stranger things was bad? So what if the ending of GoT and the new spinoff is bad?So what if the majority of people agree on those things? People can still like them. Anyway, they can’t dub word for word, it doesn’t work like that. But also, dub is good. Stop being elitist and let people enjoy what they enjoy

Plus I’m not even being elitist, I actually said I hope they continue forward even if it looks currently they seem to get bored of the series because it would be interesting to see them when they see more of it.

1. I’m not the one being elitist. All I said was the dub was good. You’re the one who said Crocodile isn’t the same and it’s too corny. Croc’s voice is fine, the convo with Sanji is fine.

4. Could not help but notice there are a few comments talking about Calvin this episode and last. And I am not sure we were watching the same reaction. Calvin looks properly engaged to me, he doesn’t need to be animated 24/7- he is definitely tired but I would not go as far as to say he is uninterested. He is clearly paying attention or he would not be able to talk about the episode after. Please take a chill pill.

6. Oh God crocodiles voice sounds terrible in dub. He’s suppose to sounds like a smooth bond villain. He sounds like some cheesy thug.

   And how have you seen so many anime and not realize the giants didn’t throw their weapons, they shot a energy force type wave attack that’s very common? Zoro used hawk wave on whiskey peak. It’s just a weapon technique that sends out an attack not actually shooting their weapons at something
