1. You can say whatever you want but…
Thomas’ powers were SO HIGH LEVEL that the first scene of this finale was changed into buttholes talk… Now, tell me… do you believe? cuz I do!

2. He would not have done it eventually after seeing Lenny.
Of course, things were so heated in that moment that he was going to be killed by Hughie. He gave Hughie a reason not to blame himself for shooting him.

3. I think Butcher probably would have given up eventually, but I think he wanted to push it as hard as he could because at that point he probably wanted to die, and having Hughie do it would have gave him some peace.

4. I am going to say it Butcher was right. With how much there were heroes that did good, we can put a new system were there will be accountability for sups, you break the law we take your powers as soon as possible.

5. Bucher would not stop he would pull the triger eventually.. I am wondoring who has the virus now? Vought or the govorment? Or was it destroyed?

6. The way I see it, Butcher had already put the virus in the water system. He wasn’t going to waste the opportunity to get it done forever while he still had the ability.

7. I think he realized as he was dying that he would probably never have stopped. He spoke the truth to Hughie there.

8. I honestly don’t believe Butcher would’ve gave it up, at that point he has lost everything.
   His Brother,
   His Mother and Father,
   Ryan,
   His dog,
   His Tentacles,
Even his hatred for Homelander that fuelled him for what, in his time almost 2 decades?
I think he wouldn’t have been happy with anything else, even if he had two buttholes, and he would’ve just kept pushing.
Butchers death was almost inevitable for this finale and I’m happy that it was Hughie that almost mercy killed him, similar to hughies dad.
I am also happy that A-Trains last words came around from the start of the season
