I know exaclty what you mean. weird example but my senior year of college i had covid really bad and stayed home while i recovered. while i was quarantined both my parents got covid and my dad ended up in the hospital really sick for a couple weeks. while i was recovering i would watch shows or build things just to stay moving a little bit. one show in particular i watched during this time was vinland saga season one which i loved. but now when i watch the show or listen to the songs from it i get this sick feeling in my stomach the exact way i felt when i had covid and the rushing of pain and memories of taking my mom to the hospital to care for my dad and taking care of them both while also trying to recovery physically and mentally myself. thankfully i have mostly overcome those feelings but it’s a weird sensation that i try to talk through and pray through when it comes up.
