1. Luffy’s dub voice is so gross.

2. Man the dub just doesn’t hit as hard. And for some reason they like changing lines for worse ones. I prefer zeff telling Sanji simply don’t catch a cold. And that one line is enough to tell he cares for Sanji. Not outright needing him to say take care of yourself. Doesn’t give that subtle manly goodbye feeling

2. I agree. The Sub is so superior. I’m not even trying to be elitest. Luffy’s dub voice is so bad and the English lines just don’t hit the same.

1. I do as well. Imagine eric and rick doing enies lobby. Or impel down/marineford. I think eric is the most invested, idk about calvin or aaron

   I also feel like Calvin and Aaron are gonna get hooked either by the end of the east blue saga or Alabasta at the latest, going off how they both reacted to Naruto.

   And iirc Rick stopped around Water 7 so im extremely hyped for him to experience Thriller Bark 🙂

1. hopefully we do i think water 7 saga might be my favourite in any anime. also with erics love of zoro and chris sabat if they keep going thriller bark will be a great watch.

2. To be fair, when I first watched I wasn’t invested until the end of arlong park… I felt it a little too cartoonic and silly, but then arlong park hit hard. So I have faith this will happen with then too haha.
   Eric have seen the LA, so he’s more invested by knowing some characters and being able to see then on their origin I think, and knowing it can get a little more serious.
