1. Blood bending is stronger at night, and during a blood moon too.

   I heard people complaining about Jet’s fate here, but I think this works just as well as Lake Laogai.
   Overall, I’m still enjoying this series, not sure its doing anything better than the Animated, but I mean… animated is still there, its not like we were getting this INSTEAD.

   I feel like the Actors are all doing their best with these roles, a shame the show is getting the reception it is, overshadows their work.

2. I think one my main issues with this episode was actually Toph and Iroh’s conversation in the tea shop. It felt like it was just inserted to tick off an iconic moment from the original show. Iroh’s line “I would protect Zuko over anyone else”, while likely ultimately true, didn’t really feel like something he would actually say.

   I did like having people meet the past avatars. We met Kuruk at the North Pole, so it makes sense that they would have him be the one to get skipped. There was definitely a missed opportunity to have him meet Sokka and bond over lost loved ones, though.
