1. I feel like the lighting is one of those artistic choices, that you ether like or don’t like. Personally I had no issue with it in the episode.

2. I think the kids in the show are true representations of their primary caregivers (their mothers). Looking at Aegon and Aemond I see the hidden ugliness inside Alicent. Helaena seems too out of this world to care sometimes, but even she doesn’t like her mother.

3. What does it matter that her kids are not her husbund’s? She is the royal line. Any kids of hers will be a royal line. They are not pretenders. It’s not like the Joffrey situation where he wasn’t King’s son. And I also don’t understand why Alicent would be in any way owed the trurth of Raynera’s sex life. Who is she to her? If her father, father-in-law and husband are happy and content, Alicent doesn’t have any right to have any problem with it. Raynera’s isn’t even sleeping around, she has a long-time partner and she makes the best of her situation. Alicent self-righteousness blinds her to her own hypocrisy. She is miserable and wants Raynera to be miserable too.

5. but haelaena IS a targaryan so we are seeing plenty of targaryan magic shit. she is obviously a prophetess. dont dismiss her as just some weird girl so you dont pay attention to what she says. that is how you are missing some important shit

6. well i felt it. laenor raised those kids. they are his sons. yeah their bio father was there but he wasnt raising them, he was acting as a knight aka body guard. no different then growing up with a nanny, house keeper or body guard if you a celeb’s kid. friendly but there are lines they can not cross.
