I have always been Team Black both the Book Version and the Show, although I have always had a soft spot for Helaena no one deserves what she went through, plus she is a little out there which I like she reminds me of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter she was one of my Favs from that series of books/ movies.
None of the above. I’m here for the dragons, and that episode had a fine dragon brawl.
Welcome back, Sunfyre.
I’m still for Team Black as the rightful rulers. However, I do love Sir Gwayne and Daeron. Ormund is a great character, but obviously a very unlikable person. I haven’t read the books so I don’t know how this will end. I assume the Blacks will win in the end, but maybe there will be a GoT twist that surprises me!
Basically all the Targaryens are severely disturbed and evil people aside from Helaena. When anyone is mean to her, it makes me instantly hate them. It’s like being mean to Hodor. They’re both pure and good. Also, the Green’s have just been more badass lately.
Well team green has kinda fractured into like 3 different factions who are all sorta against each other too
I’ve always been team Aegon though and this episode has only reinforced that
The one true king!
This is something I NEVER thought I would say, but I’ve really been enjoying Team Green this season. That Aegon and Sunfyre scene gave me chills. Tyland proved himself a better man than I ever thought he would be. Say what you will about Ormund, but he’s been an incredibly fun character to watch. Daeron and Gwayne I just hope the best for. I can’t even really find it in myself to blame Ulf for joining them. Would it have really been so hard for Rhaenyra to promise him… hell, just ANYTHING, really? All she offered him was slavery in all but name, with a side course of Daemon gleefully bullying him at any given opportunity. Ormund could have offered Ulf the most decrepit castle in all of Westeros and I STILL think he would have swapped sides… Now, do I think Ormund will live up to his end of the bargain? No, not really. But if I’m being completely honest here, and perhaps this is just the pessimist in me talking, I don’t think EITHER side are letting the dragonseeds live once this war is over. Addam I think will be fine, as the acknowledged bastard of Lord Corlys Velaryon, but commoners of unproven birth like Ulf and Hugh? There’s no chance. Even if Rhaenyra didn’t order the assassination herself, Daemon would absolutely take it upon himself to do so.
What is Larys plotting? He seemed to genuinely believe in Aegon, but he also kept Otto as a prisoner to gain favor with Team Black if they would regain power. So why not switch right away when power shifted? I’m just curious what he’s up to.
I feel like Tyland Lannister has been the most competent and logical characters of the show. He warned Viserys about the importance of the Step Stones, secured the Triarchy Fleet (also had a good battle plan) and moved the gold out of the treasury. He seems to be the only one thinking ahead and not letting his emotions and pride get the best of him. The other characters push him around and the audience dismisses him purely because he is a Lannister. Do you think he will get his moment or will it end in tragedy with no one taking him seriously?
