Will killing Thragg end the Viltrumite war?

  1. Also, on my way to work today I had an epiphany that “Earth being Viltrumite free for the first time in a long time” was included for a reason in the prior episode and 2 months have passed since we last saw of earthly matters.

Tharg may be holding the Earth hostage, and I dont think Mark would be willing to pay this price.

  2. We are assuming Thragg can be easily killed in the first place. I think there’s a reason he’s the leader and they haven’t shown him fighting to this point, I don’t think he’d be easily taken out, but even if he was, we still have Psychos like Anyssa and whichever other Viltrumites we haven’t seen yet that are on other planets and might be even stronger or crazier than the ones we have had up to this point.

  3. I’m just spitballing here, but I don’t think Thaedus’ plan is gonna work. I picked “it will end the war for good” because I’m gonna guess Thaedus’ assumption is probably correct, but that it will backfire and Thragg will initially survive. Thaedus has too much dip on his chip, so I think the attempt on Thragg is gonna fail.

  4. I will go with the Ripley strategy. Get them all to Vilturm and take off and nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

  5. I still think the two holed cat is behind it all, thragg bows down to the two butthole cat.
NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM TWO BUTTHOLE BEINGS!!!!

  6. If the death of their first leader whom they seem to revere rather intensely resulted in what we have now I can only imagine that the death of Thragg will simply lead to even more zealous hatred

  7. Killing him will end the war, but I don’t think it’s a great idea to have scattered Viltrumites just hanging around in the universe. We’ve seen how that plays out in another story that you guys enjoy, and the Empire was hunting them for decades after Order 66. Better to let them all group up on Viltrum and hit them with the scourge virus again. This might be the only case when genocide could be okay…maybe

  8. Thragg has that KyloRen energy with him so I don’t want him to die. But I don’t see another way of ending the war, so I’ll be sad to see him cease to exist.
