1. Fun fact(s) of the day: This episode features Kakuna (4:13) and Metapod (6:23) evolving by having their shells cracking as their evolved forms emerge out of it. This was only in this episode, as later episodes show them evolving like any other Pokémon. This episode also features the first time a Pokémon’s body part gets broken, with Pincer’s pincers being shattered (2:55) along with Beedrill’s stringer (6:14)

2. Why are kids’ coughs always more productive sounding than mine? Although I’d be running around with Lysol after them. 😀
