1. I was with you when it came to Pete, Eric, and I stand with you again. Trust Greg!

2. I trust him completely because he’s too hot not to be trusted. Also we already had a love interest ‘betrayer’ plot with Emma last season and I feel that would be a little too repetitive and I’d like to think this show is kind of above that.

3. Meow! He is friendly to cats, so why not? I’m high btw!

4. I want Greg to be trustworthy, he’s hot. Also, it feels cruel to have Emma betrayed by two love-interests in a row. And maybe a little too predictable.

5. I feel like the show wants us to be suspicious of Greg, but I don’t see what use Cipher would have of him, he seems to be aware of everything happening around him and can control people as needed.
   Personally considering we saw Cate speak through the nurse in ep 2 & know Cipher dislikes supes not pushing their powers to the limit, I’ve started suspecting he has the same power just further developed (“the hand does nothing” and Cate relies on touch).
   As for Greg I want him to betray us but claim to or actually have been mind controlled by Cipher so he can betray us again for maximum number of twists.

6. “Greg” backwards is “Gerg.” Gerg rhymes with Zurg. Zurg is a rip off of Darth Vader. Darth Vader betrayed his friends. Coincidence? I think not!

8. I remember Godolkin being the right hand man of The OG Fredrich Vought who if you remember was a nazi (techincally he switched sides for America before the war ended but was def still white supremacist)
   This leads me to believe that if cypher *is* godolkin, he is probably not Good in “The boys” sense but just “another evil faction” who has goals that dont align with homelander

9. I am not sure if Cipher is necessarily good. I definitely think he wants to kill Homelander or at least have something to potentially counter him, but I think he is pushing Marie more for self preservation purposes. and with Sage, I think she is aligning herself with Cipher since he seems so intellectually adept, and as the smartest woman in the world, it makes sense she would be attracted to that, especially since she hates Homelander iirc

10. I want nice things for Emma, but something’s sketch about this guy. And if he is trustworthy then that would him the perfect trojan horse

11. Greg is trustworthy but its precisely because of that, that when a certain someone possesses his body we won’t see it coming.

12. He’s so obviously secretly evil. I’m offended they’re trying to make me think he isn’t.
