We know exactly what his gifts are since he’s the guy from The Shining, you guys also seem to have missed a couple other connections to the main IT story with Teddy Uris being Stan Uris’ uncle and Major Hanlon being Mike Hanlon’s grandfather.
Love that they had a scene of Hallorann drinking moon’shine’ in this episode, just another little clue about him!
HERE’S JOHNNY! That’s your clue
Dick is a character from a Simpsons treehouse of horror episode in the mid 90’s. He looked and sounded exactly like groundskeeper Willie and was killed by Homer while trying to save the family from him when he went insane with alcohol withdrawal. His supernatural ability is called ‘the shinning.’ With this being a prequel to the Simpsons I hope we get to see some legacy characters like grandpa and mr burns, they were around during this time period and we still don’t know where Springfield is, maybe it’s next to Maine and all the weird continuity breaking stuff is caused by IT’s machinations. Could he be Krusty the clown?
Dick Hallorann shares his name with a certain character in another Stephen King movie from 1980 😉
Bingo! I didn’t realize it until this episode and, I think, it was reminded to me by another reaction and I said, “Oh YEAH! That WAS his name!” Then I felt stupid for forgetting. 😅
nah its a pretty old movie that most people haven’t seen in a long time, i just love the theories/connections that stephen kings books are all connected
