4. the changes in this ep were so much better then the first they made sense and weren’t just rushed nonsense hope the season keeps up this quality and the first ep was just an anomaly

7. I love this story so much. Loved the manga since I was a kid, reread it countless times, and I really, really like this live action series. Everything about it, but especially how they make the story feel as epic and emotional as the manga does. And I absolutely do not mind the changes they’ve made. Very good pacing choices, imho.

   The only “complaint” I have is that they didn’t let Smoker’s Scottish actor use his own accent. I would have loved Scottish Smoker. But I get it, he’s a Clint Eastwood type, I guess.

1. Couldn’t agree more, the change they made with Luffy singing “Binks Sake” to Laboon was brilliant imo!
