1. this comment is more for episode 5 but since i saw it with the winks unlock i can’t comment there.

   i’m not really sure where eric is getting lust looking like a 12 year old thing. mimi, beatrice, the songstress they all look like children to me and yeah honestly some of them are put in lights that are questionable for how they look but i know real life people with heights and builds very similar to lusts that are adults. maybe because it does toe the line in other areas and because she represents the sin associated with sexuality and isn’t a build more closely resembling elsa.

   keep in mind these bishops are not born representing their sin. they were regular people before that gluttony isn’t a fat ass, wrath isn’t a buff angry dude and sloth wasn’t even lazy.

   one of the cool things is the sins powers express themselves in ways that are not as straight forward you would typically expect them but actually make complete sense for the sin. like wrath forcing everyone around you to feel what you do if they like it or not. lust is actually one of the most straight forward representations basically personifying the phrase “would you still love me if i was a worm” and like pretty much all the sins it’s showing a twisted view of love more so than anything actually sexual.

   you feel what you feel but of all the things to get uncomfortable about that one seemed odd. suburu being called a little girl user, mimi’s thing with garfield, the mayors crush on the songstress those i would all get but i dunno this one seems odd to me.

1. I get being weirded out. Some of it is meant to disturb you as much as it reasonably can within TV guidelines, and then, you have stuff like Mimi and Garf (both 15), and Liliana (22, and btw, Priscilla is 20 lol), but because it is anime, because it is from Japan, because some people are… gross about younger and smaller-looking characters, etc., it brings bad connotations with the word loli, as well as some of the jokes, appearances, characters, and whatever else, which can easily leave a sour taste in your mouth and incline you to being a bit on edge when seeing such things in a show. No one has issues with like Mimi and Beako cause they are just cute, but with Liliana for example, I have seen some think it strange, given how young she looks, even though, again, she’s 22. Though, some of that can be attributed to it never being directly stated in the show iirc, and it being hard to make simple drawings that differentiate age and body types between young adults and adults, but they really weren’t doing themselves any favors with other aspects of her design (the outfit, childish attitude, content of some songs, etc.). But that is not really what most people care about. It’s almost always about Lust. I also talked about it on 4×5, but essentially, I think it’s on very thin ice. Not enough to make you stop watching, but enough to disturb you and bring up a lot of negative feelings. And that, plus what I mentioned earlier, can taint the work/characters for some people, even me, and I’m a diehard fan of this series. I get especially sad and annoyed when reminded of how weird people get about this crap (looking at you 4chan freaks). Why is it so hard for people to be normal? But I digress… Typing an essay here at this point lol, apologies. Hope it gets my point across though!

2. I think Subaru was in on the song because Emilia was frozen in ice and is over 100 years old.
