1. I don’t think Al has return by death since that is a unique ability Satella gave to Subaru because she loves him, so it wouldn’t really make much sense for her to give it to someone else as well. Besides, he’s literally missing an arm and has a deformed face or something, so I feel like he would’ve killed himself and returned by death in order to fix himself, but since he didn’t, he probably doesn’t have it. Besides, I hope nobody other than Subaru has it since it should be unique.

   What Al said there about “dying a hundred deaths” could just be a saying that people say like what Eric said. Him talking about dying the first time could be about how he got sent to this world. He could’ve died and then got transported to this one.
