1. Yamato is way worse than Kakashi. He never wins a single fight in his entire career after joining team seven except for potentially filler. He fails as team lead in this arc. And then he doesn’t really do anything canon wise is it until like 100 episodes later. He’s essentially just there for training purposes nothing else really.
