FULL LENGTH Format UPDATE!

Hey Everyone!

This update is to let you know of a new format change in how we present our FULL LENGTH Reactions to you. Previously, Full Length Videos were the same as Their YouTube counterpart, except with the full episode reaction being shown and the reference material replaced with a counter. The Intro and Discussion remained the same from the free link found on YouTube.

This is going to slightly change now.

With the coming return of a ton of new shows this television season, and the learning experience we had with Game of Thrones this year, we had a few headaches with releasing them on time due to the huge files and render times our editors were dealing with. We believe we have found a better way to present these, so that not only is it easier for the editors to handle, but the videos will be released much quicker for YOU to watch!

Being introduced gradually, Full Length Videos will now ONLY be the actual reaction itself. The Recap Intro and sometime VERY lengthy discussion will no longer be included. That material will be available as it always has, absolutely free to view on YouTube. Another added benefit for those of you who download the videos to watch locally will now be able to have MUCH Smaller files to download!

As always, thank you for your support and please leave us your feedback. Blind Wave is always trying to find better ways to distribute our content to our Patrons, and we hope this new format is enjoyable for you, as well as less of a strain both on the crew and Editors. Again, getting you this content as quickly and efficiently as possible is important to us.

Avatar EA update

Due to the 24hr stream (Over $4000.00 raised for children medical needs!) And the madness of the holidays and personal family stuff, the new Avatar Early Access video isn’t being recorded till Friday, and might not get edited and uploaded until late that night or the next morning. Just letting you wonderful people know ahead of time, and thank you for your patience 🙂

Alert about Early Access to Blind Wave Videos!

All Wave Riders know we have been cranking out videos this last week. But some of you may not even know exactly how many we have done and released here on Patreon!

We just wanted to let all patrons know that at the $25 reward, you too can see non-time sensitive videos up to a week early before they are live on YouTube. All Blind Wave content will always be completely free to view eventually, but get in on the action early with the Early Access reward available at the $25 pledge mark!

Some Changes to our Goals

We have made a few changes to our goals here on Patreon, as well as added a whole new goal.

While we wish we could create all the content everyone wants every day, it isn’t possible. So we while we work our way towards our FULL TIME goal we decided to add in some more content that we would like to do, but it doesn’t have the priority that some other work does.

Most of these changes are adding in bits of original content that we hope people will enjoy. Below are the changes to the goals.

$2,500 – A whole new goal has been added! This goal will be bringing a weekly Let’s Draw w/ Eric to Blind Wave. Watch Eric draw various places, creature, people, and more in these fun videos.

$5,000 – While this was already a goal, it mainly stipulated buying equipment. While we do want equipment to help improve the channel, and the money helps to sustain us to do more for you guys. We also wanted this goal to give you guys something as well. To our surprise we had an incredibly positive reaction to our Cooking With Blind Wave video. So it has now been added in to this goal. While these videos take some time to prepare and produce it will not be a weekly but every other week. We look forward to doing these videos more in the future.

$10,000 – Another goal that had more equipment specified, so to give more to you guys we have added in a Table Top RPG game. This may be a video or a podcast, but either way you can enjoy the journey of the Blind Wave crew through a DnD game, Star Wars RPG, or more. Some of Blind Wave have never played a Table Top RPG so this is sure to be a fun experience.

We want to thank all of our Patrons for their pledges and we hope some of these changes let everyone know that as we grow we want to do more for our viewers. As much as we want to just do all of this right now. We have a lot that people are looking for and not a huge amount of time that everyone on the crew can dedicate to getting it all done.

As we grow closer to full time we hope to produce fun and exciting content that everyone will enjoy and will be glad to call themselves a Wave Rider.
